Hotel Front Desk Agent
Job details
Full job description
Tidewater Resorts is growing and adding a Hotel Front Desk Agent to our Bar Harbor operation.
About Tidewater Resorts
Tidewater Resorts is a regional New England hospitality and tourism business serving the Berkshires since 2005. We operate 11 locations and have built a reputation for consistent quality and dependable teams.
About the role
You'll be the first person guests meet: checking them in and out, processing payments, assigning rooms, and answering questions about the property and the area. You'll handle reservations by phone and email, coordinate with housekeeping on room status, resolve billing questions, and log guest requests so the right department follows up. Night and weekend shifts rotate through the team, and you'll keep the lobby welcoming through all of them.
What you will bring
You bring a friendly, unflappable manner, accuracy with payments and reservations, and the judgment to calm an unhappy guest without a manager. Hotel or customer service experience helps; comfort with property management software is a plus we can also train.
Apply today and we will be in touch. Eligibility for US work authorisation is required at offer stage.
Required Qualifications
- Customer service experience, ideally in hotels or hospitality

- Eligibility to work in Canada
Benefits
- Free or subsidised employee meals during shifts
- Hourly base plus tips (table-service roles) or service-charge share
- End-of-season completion bonus on contract roles
- Discounted room rates at sister properties for hotel staff
